Imperial Safari Services

Born and raised in Africa, Imperial Safari Service’s guides maintain the highest level of service whilst guiding and preparing your safari down to the finest detail. After years of leading expeditions in some of the worlds most exotic destinations their knowledge of the sport fishing industry and use of the latest fishing equipment is second to none.

Our guides all see the water differently, therefore have developed their own unique style of fishing and the way they compose your expedition. They are also very good at teaching, and will provide instruction at all levels to help you to develop your own personal signature when practicing the art of fishing.

But most of all our guides are fun and you will find their enthusiasm infectious, leaving you with fond memories and new friends.

Charl Duvenage
Charl Duvenage

Born in Africa’s Cape of Good Hope, Charl’s passion for fishing and wildlife developed at an early age. After completing his schooling, Charl travelled extensively throughout Africa, and the rest of the world, exploring some of the most unique fishing destinations.  He has gained experience targeting both salt and fresh water game fish in locations such as Lorenzo Marcs, Mozambique, Andros Islands, Bahamas, Belize, Key West, Florida and the Skeleton Coast of Namibia.

Chris Clemes
Chris Clemes
Growing up in the Western Cape of South Africa, Chris was handed his first fishing rod at the age of 7 by his father. His life-long interest in marine biology has been the driving force behind his approach to fishing. Chris has travelled to some of Africa’s most untouched waters in order to target specific fresh and salt water species in Mozambique, Mauritius, the Comoro Islands, Zimbabwe. He has also fished in the Bahamas, United Kingdom, and in particular, gone in search of the world’s largest species of trout, the Marble Trout, in Slovenia.
